We have introduced the first electric vans to our Perth Depot, marking the latest step in a wider investment of more than £500,000 in electric vehicles and charging infrastructure across our network.
The investment includes 18 new electric vehicles alongside new charging infrastructure at key sites, supporting our continued move towards lower-emission transport operations.
Perth is among the first depots to benefit from this latest investment, with Aberdeen also set to introduce electric vehicles as part of the rollout.
Investing in More Sustainable Transport
As our network continues to grow, investment in our fleet and infrastructure remains a key priority.
Introducing more electric vehicles gives us the opportunity to reduce emissions across parts of our delivery operation while also learning more about how electric vans perform in real day-to-day conditions across different routes and depot locations.
The new charging infrastructure being installed across our sites is an important part of that investment, giving us the foundations needed to support more electric vehicles within the fleet.
A New Milestone for Perth

More Electric Vehicles Joining Our Network
The arrival of the new vans in Perth forms part of a wider programme of investment across our vehicle fleet and depot infrastructure.
With 18 new electric vehicles being introduced and additional charging infrastructure being installed at our sites, this represents an investment of more than £500,000 in the next stage of our electric fleet.
Aberdeen will also soon welcome electric vehicles as the rollout continues across the M&H Carriers network.
For us, the focus is on making practical investments that support the future of our operations while continuing to provide the reliable service our customers depend on.
