What Can I Send with M&H Carriers?

We can send various parcels up to 100kg in weight anywhere in the UK, thanks to our network of hubs and depots across Scotland and partnerships with multi-carrier operators. Anything larger will need to be sent as a pallet or bulky item.

We can carry most items in parcels – but some may be subject to additional insurance charges or other conditions. If in doubt, contact your nearest hub for more information.

How to Package Your Parcel

Use padding – like bubble wrap, old newspapers or cloth – to secure loose items within your box.

Secure your parcel with strong tape to stop anything falling out during transit.

Ensure the recipient’s and sender’s addresses are printed clearly on the box.

How to Measure Your Parcel

Before you send your parcel, make sure you know how big it is so we can make sure you get the most competitive rate. You’ll need to know the length, width and height of your package in centimetres. You can use this to calculate the volumetric weight of your item. If you have any issues, our hub teams will be happy to help.

In this example:
Step 1: 90cm x 47cm x 32cm = 135360 cm¬3
Step 2: 135360 ÷ 5000 (for UK shipments) = 27.07kg

Your parcel will be charged according to the greater of the actual or volumetric weights.

We’re committed to helping small businesses develop their customer base within their local communities. That’s why, in 2020, we introduced our Low-Cost Local Deliveries scheme.

We offer highly reduced rates to businesses and individuals sending parcels within the catchment area of their local hubs. This service is offered at our Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee and Argyll sites.
